Users may sometimes enter postcodes, names, practices/services, ages etc. incorrectly. Normally at least one piece of information entered will be correct and enough to find the correct user. You can update the incorrectly entered information once the user is approved.
If someone registers, but you cannot find or verify them on the system/clinical system, you can send them an email asking them to confirm the service/PCN/GP practice etc. that they belong to, and any other information you need to verify them e.g. full name/address/DOB etc. You can use your dedicated @wellbeingfirst email to do this.
Example GP/PCN email:
Dear John Doe,
Many thanks for registering for Wellbeing First.
I am having trouble locating you on our clinical system.
Please could you confirm your date of birth and the GP practice that you are registered with so that we can approve your registration.
Kind regards,
Wellbeing First
Please amend this accordingly to your service.
